1 Nature of the Service

EntryWatch is an administrative and logging tool designed to assist trained personnel — such as Topmen, safety observers, and supervisors — in recording entry times, atmospheric gas monitor readings, and communication checks for confined space operations.

EntryWatch is developed and operated by Brope Access Solutions Ltd (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales.

2 Operational Safety & Responsibility

• Not an Atmospheric Detector: EntryWatch does not physically detect gases or hazards. The current app records readings entered by users, including readings taken from separate instruments. It does not establish the accuracy or calibration of those instruments.
• No Substitution for Statutory Compliance: Use of this App does not replace or satisfy the mandatory legal obligations, risk assessments, permits to work, or safe systems of work required under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Confined Spaces Regulations 1997, or any local equivalents.
• Professional Judgment: The app assists trained personnel; it does not replace competent assessment, appropriate staffing, atmospheric monitoring, a safe system of work or rescue arrangements. An app status or warning is not permission to enter a confined space.
• Gas Readings and Rules: The app classifies recorded spot readings against the rules associated with a job. Spot or peak readings do not establish compliance with time-averaged exposure limits. Historical records without original rules may use a clearly identified retrospective interpretation; this is not proof of the original decision.
• Reminders: Notification permissions, device settings, battery restrictions and operating-system behavior can delay or prevent alerts. Do not rely on the app as your only safety alarm or communication method.

3 In-App Subscriptions & Billing

• EntryWatch Pro: Pro includes features such as unlimited technicians, full shift history access, company-branded PDF reports and custom checklist items. The available plans, included features, price, billing period and any offer conditions are shown before purchase. Free history access may be limited; this does not mean older local jobs are automatically deleted.
• Billing & Auto-Renewal: Purchases use the store available for your installation, such as Google Play on Android or Apple’s App Store on iOS. Auto-renewing subscriptions continue unless renewal is cancelled under that store’s rules. Check the store’s purchase screen and subscription settings for the applicable renewal date and cancellation conditions rather than assuming the same deadline applies to every platform.
• Cancellation & Entitlement: Manage renewal through the store account used for purchase. Cancelling renewal normally leaves access available until the current paid period ends; refunds, revocation or other store decisions can affect access. Removing the app or clearing its local data does not cancel the subscription.
• Trials, Offers and Refunds: If an offer is available, its duration, price and renewal conditions are displayed before purchase. A trial may convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled under the store’s conditions. Refund requests follow the relevant store process and applicable rights.
• Restoring Access: Restore Purchases can recover a valid subscription through the relevant store account. It does not restore local job records, files or settings; those require a separately saved backup where supported.

4 Data Ownership & Storage

EntryWatch stores operational job records locally and does not automatically synchronize them to a Brope-operated cloud service. You can choose to share PDF reports, export JSON backups or provide information in a support message. Subscription services process information separately as described in our Privacy Policy.

Back up and retain the records required for your work according to the requirements applicable to your organisation, contracts and activities, including relevant legal obligations. EntryWatch does not determine a universal retention period or automatically archive records outside your device. Obtain appropriate advice where requirements are unclear.

Before resetting or removing the app, verify an external backup is saved and usable. JSON backups contain supported job records, not every setting, image or file. Local reset or uninstallation removes local installation data but does not remove copies you shared with other services or recipients. Importing the same backup repeatedly can add duplicate jobs.

Logged entry and exit timestamps are not editable through the app’s controls. Other edits and changes to job rules are subject to the app’s job-state and versioned-rule restrictions. EntryWatch does not provide a certified, tamper-proof evidence archive or guarantee that a report satisfies every legal or organisational reporting requirement.

5 Acceptable Use

You agree to use EntryWatch only for its intended purpose — the management of legitimate confined space entry operations. You must not:

• Present false or fabricated information as a genuine operational safety record; clearly identify synthetic training or test data as such
• Use the App in a manner that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Copy, redistribute or reverse engineer the App without permission, except where allowed by applicable law or relevant licences
• Use the App as a substitute for proper training, competency, or legal compliance

6 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and will update the revision date when changes are published. We will provide appropriate notice of material changes and seek agreement where required. Changes remain subject to applicable law and your existing rights; this clause does not authorize unrestricted changes to a paid subscription.

7 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. This does not remove any right you may have under applicable law to bring proceedings in another jurisdiction.
