Brope Access Solutions Ltd (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the EntryWatch mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use EntryWatch.

3 Data Stored Locally on Your Device
EntryWatch stores the following data locally on your device using an on-device SQLite database. This data is never transmitted to our servers and remains entirely under your control:
- Site names, client names, and job details you enter
- Technician names, roles, and competency levels
- Entry and exit timestamps
- Pre-entry checklist results and confirmations
- Gas readings (O₂, CO, H₂S, LEL)
- Safety reminder acknowledgements
- Shift notes and closing observations
- Topman digital signatures
- Your user profile (name, role, City & Guilds 6160 qualification details)
- Your company profile (name, contact details, logo)
- Generated PDF shift reports
4 Data Collected by Third-Party Services
4.1 Firebase Analytics (Google LLC)
EntryWatch uses Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC, to collect anonymised usage analytics. This helps us understand how the App is used so we can improve it.
Firebase Analytics may collect:
- App usage events (e.g. screens viewed, features used)
- Device information (device model, operating system version)
- App version
- A randomly generated app instance ID
- Approximate location (country/region level, derived from IP address)
Firebase Analytics does not collect the safety data, shift records, technician names, gas readings, or any operational content you enter into EntryWatch.

You can opt out of Firebase Analytics data collection by adjusting your device’s advertising settings or by contacting us at dev@brope.co.uk.
4.2 RevenueCat (RevenueCat Inc.)
If you purchase an EntryWatch Pro subscription, we use RevenueCat to process and manage your subscription. RevenueCat may collect:
- Your App Store or Google Play account identifier (anonymised)
- Subscription status and transaction history
- Device type and operating system
RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address, or any operational data from the App.

4.3 Apple App Store / Google Play
Purchases made through the App are processed by Apple or Google directly. Their respective privacy policies govern that data:
5 Data We Do Not Collect
We want to be explicit about what EntryWatch does not do:
- We do not collect your name or email address
- We do not transmit shift records, gas readings, or safety data to any server
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- We do not display advertising
- We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or location beyond the approximate country-level data collected by Firebase Analytics
- We do not share your data with any party other than those described in Section 4
6 Permissions
EntryWatch may request the following device permissions:
- Storage — to save and export PDF shift reports to your device
- Notifications — to deliver safety reminder alerts during active shifts
- Camera / Photo Library — to upload your company logo (optional, Pro feature only)
No permission is used for any purpose other than the feature it supports.
7 Children’s Privacy
EntryWatch is intended for use by professional adults in occupational settings. We do not knowingly collect any data from persons under the age of 18.
8 Data Retention
All shift records, checklists, and operational data are stored locally on your device and retained until you choose to delete them. You are in full control of this data.
Anonymised analytics data collected by Firebase Analytics is retained in accordance with Google’s data retention policies.
9 Your Rights (UK GDPR)
As a UK-based company, we comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. You have the right to:

10 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Continued use of the App following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
